I loved the card's..the one about the hips is too funny! I love my 49th birthday, I felt from that day on, I didn't need to ask for someone else's advise..I just knew my feeling about things were right.

Happy Birthday to you. You are finally grown up! lol! I never minded getting older. I think my 40s and 50s have been my happiest ever. I have grown into myself and found a great hobby and a great group of friends. I enjoy sun rises, sun sets, raking leaves, watching my dogs play, smelling a fresh cut lawn, a cool fall breeze and some many little things I never did notice before. Life means so much more to me now than it ever has. Take each day to celebrate yourself and the ones you love around you! Take chances to make new adventures for youself and never pass up a good piece of chocolate cake!

You know - 40 is the new 20 -- I never have understood that phrase - 'cause other than my figure - I don't want much I thought I wanted at 20! I'm over 60 and find the years fly so fast - we are blessed to have a connection to the land, loved ones and the Lord - bless you belatedly on your birthday Paula!
