Goodbye Lucy

Although your time with us was short, you will be so greatly missed.....
Thank you for giving us two beautiful lambs, but most of all, for teaching us a lesson in courage.... you were so determined to live despite the fact that your poor little body was just worn out.
Sleep tight, sweet girl.... I will always love you.

  2. Oh, Paula, I am so very sorry. I know how much you loved Lucy; how you had been nursing her weary hooves. I am glad you have her lambs to keep her memory alive. She has such a sweet face. She will be waiting on the other side of the bridge when you cross over. Sending lots of love and heart-felt sympathies your way.
    Love you,★ Linda ★

  25. I got excited when I see you raise Suffolk but then to read that poor Lucy has done her job well enough to meet Sheep Heaven, that's just sad. My folks raised sheep also and it's not fun when their job is done.
I, too, have gotten so far behind with my blogging. I love your chickens which Mom continues to raise at 81. Yours are some fun lookers.
Have a great time processing all the produce, and looking forward to the cooler days of fall.
    BlessYourHeart.
