Just wanted to let everyone know we are O.K..... just a little wind damage and flooding of the barns, but we are safe, thank God. Yesterday was a very nerve-wracking day to say the least; all day long I watched the destructive storms on the radar barreling up the Tennessee Valley toward us, only to see them weaken before they got here.
To my blog friends in Alabama, Georgia, and other parts of Tennessee, I'm whispering prayers and hoping you are safe....
Amen! So glad that you are safe, Paula. The last two weeks have been very nerve wracking!
ReplyDeleteThankful that you and James are safe, Paula. No damage near us but slightly north of us is just devastated and lives were lost in last night's storms.

ReplyDeleteThe news from your neck of the woods is just incredible! I'm so glad to hear you're okay!! One of the bloggers whom I visit often lost her home yesterday, but fortunately she and her large family ~ including their brand new baby ~ are okay. God is so good.

WOW, the question I asked you on your previous post almost seems prophetic now. I'm so glad to here you are ok. Me and the girls prayed this morning for all those who have been affected by these terrible storms. Like Dorothy on the Wizzard of Oz, I woke up this morning and was thinking I needed to be thankful right where I am and keep my heart tight here in my own back yard.
ReplyDeleteBlessings

I have been watching on the news---very scary! We have even had some high winds and tornado watches, which is unusual. Thank the Lord for his watch care over you all!
ReplyDeletePaula, so glad to hear you and your family are safe. The devastation of the storms were so heart wrenching. My heart and prayers are with all areas affected.
ReplyDeleteOh Paula dear ... I am so glad you are ok. I will be praying for God's continued divine protection upon you and yours..
ReplyDeleteI feel so bad for Sherry Lee..
Whewwwwww! I know I need to give all my worries to Jesus, but I gotta tell you, I've been worried about all my friends scattered across the country lately. Glad to hear things are ok, and hopefully calming down for awhile.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are safe. Still praying for so many others. Thank you for keeping us posted!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you guys are alright. That was such a big scary thing there..sending you hugs of comfort! :D
ReplyDeleteSo glad you all are ok....i cannot believe the weather we have had this spring!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you are safe. My oldest daugher flew into Chatanooga during the storm, on her way to visit family in Trenton, GA. Trenton was not ok but family had only tree damage. No elect, phone, etc. however. They spent a couple of days in a motel then daughter's father-in-law died suddenly and she had to fly back home. It was not her best trip.
