It's a good thing she doesn't have to diaper all these babies....

Still in the hay... our barn is full but there are still more bales in the field to pick up.
(But we're almost finished! YAY!)
Have a great weekend!

  14. This right here is the ANSWER as to why a farmer goes through all their hard work...preciousness.

I'm loving my backyard chickens and CAN'T WAIT until I get to move to our acreage full-time so I can have moments like this!

  18. Paula, they are DARLING! I have blues here, but won't breed them until next year. We have to get rid of some roosters, first. The new henhouse is still going up, but VERY slowly :-). Haying has just started here, too.

  27. Oh, I just love the baby chicks. They are so cute. Good luck with your crops and I hope you will get the hay cut and into the barn soon. Farming is hard work, but very rewarding especially when the little chicks are born.
