Friday Farm Foto: Oh, you again....

I'm pretty sure these little chicks get tired of seeing my big head peeking into their coop every few hours- in fact, their expression in this picture says it all:
"Oh, it's her again."

But I can't help it... I have a fever and the only cure is more fuzzy-bottoms. :)

A little unexpected blog break is happening for me right now... there is much to do like mowing the grass and lots of spring cleaning of the house and the barns, and I've been doing a little embroidery work to pick up some extra money.

I've also experienced some issues with Blogger lately, like not being able to
leave comments on some of my favorite blogs. Well, actually I was able to comment, but then they would disappear-  for some reason they were going into the "Spam" folder.... very frustrating.
(By the way, you might want to check the spam folder on your blog to see if my comments or comments from others might be in there...)
I almost decided just to stop blogging... but then I would miss all of you terribly
and I have so much to share that I'd like to stick around for a while longer.
Hopefully things around here will slow down and I can get my blogging mojo back soon.... *sigh*

Happy Friday, everyone- I'll be back, I promise!

  3. Feel better! Don't you hate having to type the word verification after you leave a comment on blogs?
And I just got a notice that I have to pay google for more space for my blog! WHAT?!

  4. Hello dear friend~
Yes, fuzzy bottoms will do it every time!

I am also having blogger troubles and they want me to pay for more photo space too. Guess I'll have to do it-can't think about not visiting my blog pals!
    Hope you are feeling better...
    Love you.

  11. So cute!

So far I haven't had trouble with Blogger except I can't change font and font size when posting. I always thought it would just be a matter of time before we'd be expected to pay for their service.

Take your time and get some rest.

Love those fuzzy bottom chicks too!

Understand completely about work vs. blogging.
With good weather..we certainly need to 'make hay while the sun shines'!

  19. Paula, that is the perfect caption for this picture. LOL They really do look like they are saying that. I hear you on the busy thing. This time of the year is just like that. I haven't posted on my blog for almost a month. I'm tired and not in the mood when evening comes. I will tell you that we got some rabbits. I am already in love. I will soon do a blog post about them. Probably next week, though, because this weekend is full once again. Have a good weekend, my sweet friend.

  22. I agree with Mike... I think it's definitely the season where my favorite farm blogs start writing less b/c it's the busy season!!

Write when you can and I'm glad you decided not to quit blogging entirely!

  23. Chicks are the cutest little critters and I can not seem to get enough of them, which explains why I have so many adult chickens! Those Silkie chicks are so cute.

  24. Hi Paula,
I love those fuzzy bottoms. They are so cute! I have hens sitting on some eggs but my Turkey or Peacock are eating them!! Doesn't look like I am going to get any little chicks this spring :(
I have been having problems too with blogger. I have been getting so many spams per day that I had to turn on the verification again.
Then they spam the comments I don't want them too and let the stupid comments go on my blog! Oh well....
I always enjoy visiting the Fraker Farm!
    Hugs, Ann

  26. Paula, I too have had blogger commenting issues! Frustrations!
I love a fuzzy bottom fix and all the hard work (and reward) of Spring. Also, must find where I lost my blogging mojo....

  27. Oh they are adorable! I'd have to look all the time, too.

I'm having lots of blogger problems, too, and haven't posted for a while. I've had trouble with comments, too. I was thinking it was my iternet service, but after seein everyone's comments, maybe not. My aunt told me she didn't think they were doing many blogger updates anymore. . .so who knows?

  36. Oh, they are all so cute, I love their color!

I have a peep question, I have 13 babies that are 6 days old a few of them have matted bottoms. Should I moisten a rag and try to clean the area or are they to young?

I know you are busy, but I thought of you knowing you've got experience...

    Thanks in advance,
    Mel
