Oh! my goodness, I simply adore Lily!. She needs her own blog, and what a hit she would be, not that she isn't already. lol
I have been away from blogging for a few weeks and this is such a treat for me. I so enjoyed your previous posts, especially your sunporch chat at Tammy's. Enjoy your day, Blessings, Sue
She sure does not look happy, lol, that is the picture of disapproval at it's best!!! My Kiah hates baths too, but they smell so sweet & snuggly afterwards:D
That is what Buddy looks like when he gets a bath. Then after it is all done and he is brushed out, he gets so excited and runs everywhere. LOL Have a good day, my friend. Give Lily a scratch for me.
my dogs said to tell Lily - they agree - bath is a four letter word just like those naughty ones their mama says when she trips over their toys in a dark hallway!
I am so BEHIND! Trying to get caught up! This picture is just too cute! Love that dog! :-)
I think our hawk this time was a Sharp-shinned, just because he is a lot smaller than the Coopers we've had in the yard before. I'm glad the Coopers don't bother your chickens! I find something dead on my back porch at least twice a week. I think sometimes it is a neighborhood cat that runs loose, but I wonder if sometimes it is a hawk or other critter. A Grey Hawk (local only to this area and NW Mexico and kind've rare) was swooping to get something one day and flew into my back glass door. He was OK, but was pretty stunned.... I normally have the gate closed on that back sliding door. I plan to get a motion sensor camera to put out there one of these days, weeks, months, years! When I can afford the extra expense! :-)
By the way, how neat that you have an embroidery machine! What fun that must be! And Paula....we had a bee swarm this morning. I'm hoping it just means the bees are moving to a new spot. They seem to have settled down now.
Thanks for the giggle although I'm sure Lily doesn't appreciate being the focus of the humor. Are you familiar with Zelda? You'd LOVE Zelda! Send me a PM at the gmail address thistlecovefarms and I'll forward it to you. Trust me...if you've not seen Zelda, you're in for a WONDERFUL time!

Girl, if looks could ... well you know.... Poor Miss Lily. But Poor YOU, your back? Having to lift her into the tub... ouch!
ReplyDeleteHOPE your day is good.
Now Lily doesn't look too happy with you, Paula. :) As a matter of fact, I would say that's a "dignified unhappy" look!
ReplyDeleteLily is quite a star over here! :)
Have a great day!
Tammy
Just too cute! I bet Lily smells so sweet after her bath.
ReplyDeleteLily is reading the ingredients list....
ReplyDeleteWell..
ReplyDeletethat's a less than enthusiastic expression :)
Better in the tub, than in the hose!
Have a great day!

Lily is cute as can be and don't you just love puppy hugs right after bathtime?

ReplyDeletelaughing, laughing, laughing at lily!
ReplyDeleteFunny Lily. Her face captures the way my dog feels about a bath very well. Isn't it weird how dogs seem to smell everything but themselves?
ReplyDeleteI can tell that sweet Lily is having fun in the tub. There's nothing better than after-bath naps.
ReplyDeleteLily Girl, think of it as going to the spa! Folks pay LOTS of money for what you just got for free!
ReplyDeleteHahahaaaa....love the Look on her face!! Pitiful!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!
