Friday "Festive" Fotos: I saw Lily kissing Santa Paws

Lily met Santa Paws for the first time a couple of weeks ago....
We took her to the local animal shelter to have some pictures taken with him.
The shelter does this every year to help raise funds for their daily operation
and we were more than happy to help, especially if it means finding good homes
for all the poor doggies and kitties with no families of their own.

When she first sat down beside him, all she wanted was to smell his beard.
"Hmmm... whatcha been eatin'?"

She couldn't seem to get comfortable for a few seconds...

Then back to smelling the beard....

She got distracted by the sound of dogs barking...

But finally her inner supermodel kicked in and we got some good ones.

And our Christmas wish is for all the animals at Young-Williams Animal Center to find
loving homes for the holidays.

  1. Great pictures of Lily girl! I bet she had a hard time concentrating on her public image next to that red suit with fur trim, lol.
It's just heart wrenching to think of all the animals that need good homes.
    Have a great weekend!

  3. this is too tooooo funny, i love it and showed the pics to my hubby and we had a good laugh. Santa Paws looks happy indeed... since bob looks like Santa people are always asking him if he plays santa, he would not, but i bet the would for the dogs...

  4. She's so cute and funny. What a good way to draw attention and raise money for the plight of orphaned pets. I would take Beau, but we'd have to muzzle him. He'd rip that beard off and give it a good shake.

  19. I decided to stop by when I saw the name of your farm--Fraker's. I've been unable to find the state in which you farm, maybe you keep that a secret, so if so, sorry to ask. I had family in Arkansas whose name was Fraker and they had chickens. Lots of chickens. Though you might be connected.
