Wonderful Merry over at Puddingstone Farms had a terrific contest last month- she was giving away this pair of HANDMADE (*gush *) Fall potholders!! Aren't they gorgeous? Now I feel like cranking up Donna Fargo on my MP3 and singing along with "I'm the Happiest Girl in the whole USA".
But I'll spare you that part.
As an extra bonus, her little grandcutie Mackenzie drew my name... isn't she a sweetie?
I can't wait to put my potholders out with the rest of my fall decorations...
Handmade kitchen towels from a special friend in Texas... (Thank you, Linda!)
This little guy keeps an eye on things from over the woodstove....
My leaf dishes... (look at the little acorn butter knife! *squeal*)
Basket full of fall apples....
They smell so good drying in the oven....
And best of all, the outside decor....
Complete with a beautiful clear blue fall sky!!!
Congrats to you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful decorations!!! I actually almost bought a little fall wreath exactly like yours to hang on my front door today! (almost, but not quite!)
ReplyDeletenOW THAT IS EERIE--WE HAVE dONNA fARGO ON OUR iPOD!!!!
ReplyDeleteI adore the leaf dishes and the acorn spreader. I am all into fall.
This weekend, I plan to get a tall skinny punkin and hollow it out. We will drive along country roads and cut a big sheaf of pampas grass and some bittersweet and make a fall 'case' out of that punkin!!! And in a squat fat one, I'll put a pot of mums! That'll be the extent of our decorating. The rest will be done especailly for us by God, the creator of the most beautiful of decor!
I wish you could be here for the Scenic Van Buren County Drive Oct. 11 and 12. The road meanders throughout all the villages of the county with craft fairs and flea markets and sales in every village. People will be demonstrating their talents and selling their wares. Tons of food, the buckskinners and rendevousers will be in full force in the State Park. They cook in cast iron over open fire, using recipes form the pioneer days. It is definitely my very favorite time of year and my favorite annual event.
Lest I forget, congratulations on your win. I already know you are a weener.......
Lettin' out a *squeal* right along with you! Such adorable stuff! This is my favorite time of year...the scents, the colors...everything!

Hi Paula,
ReplyDeleteWow, I am jealous, how pretty, and congrats! My granddaughter just dragged the fall decor out of the space in the loft. I guess, I will have to bundle up, and get outside to find just the right spot for everything. Our new addition, "Marley" a lab mix dragged a pair of pants (the grandkids were stuffing for a scare crow)all around the yard, as they ran screaming after her. They did catch her, however, after the leaves were emptied out. LOL
See ya back at the ranch.
Yay!!!! Congratulations, Paula!!!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so pretty there at the Farm. LOVE the leaf dishes with that sweet spreader!!!
Hugs and blessings,
Pam
How FUN! your decoration is quite festive and your joy at winning is charming - glad you are having a great autumn, it is beautiful here in Texas but definitely not as "fall like" as your place.
