BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE mornings like those!! (And now that the sun's rising so much later, I can actually experience them again!!) I really like that shot from your front porch.
Paula, it is amazing how your morning looks just like mine! We could be neighbors....I love mornings like this. The mist is so soft and silky, everything it surrounds looks softer...And the chill in the air that the mist brings is being tempered by my little gas stove that is burning brightly here...Thanks for sharing. Wordless Wednesdays, huh? I like that idea!
These pictures are absolutely stunning. Fog adds such a neat dimension, doesn't it? I love the spiderweb one. Pictures of them are so much better than the web I ran into as I walked out the door to go to work the other morning. SPiders can be such productive little buggers even in a few short hours. The picture off your porch and the old rake are great too.
Great hazy shots-perfect dimension. Spider webs are always better in the am when they are dewy. I took some great shots on our porch. Smoky looks like me in the morning; kind of like Garfield! LOL Glad to see you back on line!!!!! XOXOXOXOX AND GREAT BIG HUGS!
I just LOVE your photography! What a MOOD it captures - like the expression on the dogs face. ha! I'm dreading days like this, but there is such beauty in everything. Thanks for sharing!!
Paula, Those photos are great! I adore fog and the best pictures I've taken were when it was foggy. I love the three chickens happily running thru the fog! I just love your place. Debra
Those pictures were just beautiful!!!! Made me miss the Virginia farm and all those foggy, beautiful mornings!!!!! It seemed so peaceful scrolling through!!!! Thank you!
Incredible picture of the spider web! The season's are changing- I can smell the misty morning from here... Perfect type of morning to light the stove. Too bad, we are operating on the motto of "No heat til trick or treat!"
I saw your comment over at Mountain Woman At Heart's post. I had to come and see where you live. I was just in East TN looking for a farm for rent this past weekend. We were in Johnson City, Greenville, Rogersville, and other spots. We do live on a farm up here in Ohio, but we want to move to the mountains!!!
Where in east TN are you? We are about halfway between Tazwell and Morristown in Washburn. (On the north side of Clinch Mountain.)
Reason I ask is that the scenery doesn't look all that different from ours.
Marci, come on across Clinch Mountain to the north and see some really great scenery! Land is a lot cheaper and more available across the mountain. We really love it here. Just gorgeous and really nice people.
