These are some of the treasures of my chickie collection, because all of them were given to me by people who think I'm special.... and who I think are pretty special, too....
You are so blessed by friendship! These are indeed treasures. I love the black lamp. I have quite a few chickies myself, you know. I used to be all about chickens. Now I have the roosters on the microwave. I just love chickens and wish I had some of my own.... Yours are inspirational and interesting.
You certainly have me beat, I have to admit the one you have next to the painted gourd, I thought for a moment you had one of the live ones in the house... LOL
Sorry, this must come from hubby telling some of our friends he'd like to lead one of our horses in and get a picture of them at the kitchen island, eating an apple or something; I don't think so mister!
My favorite is the whisk with the itty bitty chickie hanging on the pot rack, Just to cute.
I love your collection, Paula. Anything rooster or chicken is just so cute. I posted a picture of our dog and the chickens....he is being so good with them, so far.
The canisters are wonderful, deep rich colors and the promise of the sunflowers yet to come. The collection would make even the dark and rainiest of days shine bright around the home. Be careful though there may be a few that will ask for your address to send more chickens your way!(What is it anyway? Ha) Susan
Just flippin' around at lunch today, I landed on you..oops. hope I didn't hurt you! So now, I'll go back and spend a little time getting to know you. That is one of the most fun parts of blog exploring. Hope you'll hop over and see who I am, too!
They are everywhere, they are everywhere! heehehahaahooo. My favorite was the popcorn chicken lamp. But I think you should REFILL IT with SCRATCH feed! heeheehaahaahoohoo Those rascals need something to eat in there!
Have a glorious day in Tennessee Farm chick! Send my love to little Edie okay? L
I just got some chicken hooks that my aunt sent from my Grandmother's things. I'm excited to get them put up to hold my aprons! Seems my Grandma enjoyed decorating with chickens as much as I do.
Hi Paula, I love your Chickens/Roosters collection! I also collect them in my kitchen. I giggled because we have the same paper towel holder and plates! It had gotten so bad in the kitchen with roosters/chickens everything that I had to promise my husband, they can't leave the kitchen! LOL Love, Ann
you mean other people collect chickens too? wow, who knew? I have a very large serving bowl that matches your pitcher and bowl set. Great collection.....I'll have to get pictures of all of mine and post some day.....Oh by the way, I'm Susan and I live in Utah Love the tractors! laugh about the sheep peeing I thought only dogs did that LOL
