A plain-old egg.... right?
Here it is next to a normal sized Silkie egg......
Aaaaand- here it is next to a Rhode Island Red egg.
Hmmmm.... must be something in the water....

Love the photos! I sometimes get really small eggs from my new layers! There for awhile I was getting huge double yolkers from one of my hens. Sadly, she was killed!

ReplyDeleteDon't you just love those little eggs? I had some little green speckled ones I kept for a while~they were among a found nest of bantam eggs.
Paula, I figured out that egg thing. It must have been a cuckoo. Yes, it's a cuckoo egg. Hatch that sucker and see what happens! Oh, and your pictures are great!
